Keepers of the Flame

VzörbrëzV / Injuria - Split

New allegiance in putrid black bile and purulence. Two acts waging war on the nazarene, his lies, and on humanities existence as whole, delivering rotten Raw Black Metal decay. From the Garde Noire, VzörbrëzV. An act that should need no introduction, the most prolific entity of the circle, VzörbrëzV delivers putrescent, primitive Raw Black Metal in the veins of deathly legends such as Séviss or early Mons Veneris. Blown-out guitars delivering Punk-ish dissonance, accompanied by cacophonic, sometimes barely audible drums and tormented screams. This time also with some great Black Ambient tracks, not unlike Moëvöt, or also some resemblance with the likes of Ahulabrum, particularly on the great last track, with some ghoulish synthesizers. Injúria hails from the sibilant shores of Ophiussa, with two long, mid-paced tracks of absolutely decrepit Raw Black Metal, much alike their compatriots in the Black Circle. Like a mutilated corpse, absolutely dismembered, and randomly stitched back together, creating an abhorrent resemblance of humanity, this is the type of Black Metal that Injúria plays, much like early Vetala and Decrepitude. Chuggy, dragging, clangy riffs mark the pace of this vile rotting corpse, accompanied by sounds of chains and other metallic objects, and some absolutely disgusting vocals, spewing the biggest atrocities. - Rites of Pestilence
